I know exactly what you mean, Debbie.  We had 10 of our own, and last
December we agreed to foster 4 for a military couple that had orders
to go overseas.  Since they were paying us a "room and board" fee, we
didn't have to worry about the cost of their care.  Three months into
the fostering, they decided they wanted us to go ahead and rehome them.
We couldn't stand the thought of seperating them, and finding a home that
would take all four would be difficult.  So we decided they would remain
with us.  I never in my wildest dreams imagine we'd have 14 ferrets!
 
It's amazing how these cute little fur balls grab hold of your heart!
