Sometimes we do stupid things and it seems I do more than my share....

A few years ago we had a big snow. I was going outside and Doc wanted to
come out too so I thought "o.k. this'll be fun". So out we go, me, Doc,
and our friend Tina.

I put Doc down and he dooks wildly and starts bounding off in the knee
high drifts close to the road. I see lights coming up the road, yell
for Tina to run to stop the car and I make a manuever that is somewhere
between diving off a diving board and sliding into home base, grabbing
for Doc as he playfully bounces away from me.... but thanks to my
manuever I caught him just before he hit the street.

Moral of the story - if you take a white ferret out into knee deep white
snow, make sure he/she is wearing a harness and leash....

Hugs to all. tle
