God, I hate to use that heading, but I didn't know what else to use.

I'd just like to let you all know that we are doing our best to help the
ferret and baby in question.

A press release will go out to both the Toronto Star and the Ajax paper
that covered the story.

So far, the ferret is safe and sound in an animal control shelter awaiting
the owner's thoughts on keeping it or not. If the owner decides she no
longer wants the ferret, the animal control shelter will recommend
euthanising the ferret. The Ferret Aid Society will do everything in it's
power to make sure that doesn't happen.

The incident occurred on Canada day (July 1) so we are lucky the ferret is
still alive. I am going to work as hard as I can to make sure it stays
that way.

On a side note, my heart goes out to Pat from San Diego in hopes that your
4 fur baby's return home safely to you. If there is anything we can do to
help, please let me know.

Please hold your ferrets tight tonight and remember the ferrets who are
less fortunate and away from their homes.

Love, Randy
