To add to Sukie Crandall's message:

It should be noted that Triclosan is in many household products,
including some products like shampoo and toothpaste.

It is also commonly found in major brands of dish soap. Check anything
that is labeled "antibacterial", and any cleaning products that are
not.

The upshot is: make sure to check your labels, and after washing ferret
dishes, etc., -- or your own! -- make sure to be very careful to wash
away any residue before using.

And consider buying brands that do not contain Triclosan.
