Hello everyone!

Please welcome Bianca to the FML. We adopted Bianca on Saturday from a
small animal shelter (thanks Nathania for the internet site!) not too far
from Paris, France.

Bianca is a female albino. She was part of a breeding program that was
stopped, and the remaining 'mothers' were given to the shelter. Bianca
is about 3 1/2yrs old and was sterilized on Tuesday. She is doing well
but I don't like to leave her for too long with the other ferrets incase
they play fight too much and she pulls her stitches. She is very sweet
natured considering she spent over 3 years of her life living in a box
and having babies as often as possible. On Saturday 14th September she
will be vaccinated.

The shelter had over 30 ferrets, lots of rats, and rabbits. The shelter
is run by a family and the shelter is their house. The family were
wonderful with the animals and we will keep in touch to give them an
update and send photos of Bianca in her forever-home.

I think I have also managed to find a ferret specialist in Paris. I will
be taking Teddy (- who is loosing fur on his tail and the other vets say
that it is either a lack of vitamins or mites) and the others as soon as
we can get an appointment.
