Hi everyone,

My name is Kendra Shepard and I am a first time poster to FML, although
I've enjoyed reading FML for about three weeks now. I am a 21 year old
pre-med student who, up until two weeks ago, was the mommy of two adorable
fuzzies. I work at a local vet. hosp. as a vet. tech., which is how I
came to be a ferret mom. Some clients of ours were forced to part with
their ferrets due to their newborn babys allergies. I jumped at the chance
and for a year and a half they have been my pride and joy! Two weeks ago
my beloved "Taz"passed-on. He was not sick, just died of old age. This
has left my other baby, "Doc", without her buddy. Doc is a spayed female,
current on all her vacs, and descented. I love playing with my baby and
she loves playing with me...but she really misses having another ferret to
play and sleep with. I am posting this to see if anyone knows of a ferret
looking for a good home? I live in Chattanooga, Tn. and there are no
shelters here with ferrets, and the two pet stores that have ferrets ship
them! I have a BIG problem when it comes to stores shipping their animals.
If anyone thinks they might be able to help, Doc and I would sure
appretiate an e-mail at [log in to unmask] I will be more than happy to
provide more information to anyone willing to help me out! I am willing
to travel to pick up a new fuzzy.

Thanks so much,
Doc and Kendra Shepard
