In response to FML questions of late regarding Reno pet stores, I wanted to
let you all know I just purchased my first new baby up in Reno this past
weekend after doing my homework on ferrets and getting recommendations on
stores in that area. This is not an advertisement for the stores, just
thought I'd pass along my good luck w/ them:

Pets Unlimited (this is the store "under the freeway overpass" that someone
recently referred to as being good- it is!)
840 East 5th Ave (corner of Wells and 5th off of I-80)
Reno, NV -- Ph: 702-329-1752

They get new ferrets in every Thursday- w/ 1st set of shots complete, and
neutered/descented too, about 7 weeks old. You can call to reserve ahead of
time- they have tons of ferret supplies, too. This is actually where I got
my new baby sable, Jasmine -- I paid $110 + tax for her -- they were really
nice and knew alot about ferrets. And if you are from California like I am,
they give lots of helpful advice!!

Another store that was recommended to me by a fellow ferret owner (but I
didn't get a chance to stop by because they weren't open yet) is:

Pets R Us
5150 Mae Anne Avenue #212 (shopping center off of McCarran Blvd from I-80)
Reno, Nv 89523
(702) 747 8400

Just some recommendations for everyone... I've been "lurking" on the FML
for over a month now and love reading about everyone's babies! My little
fuzzy "Jaz" is the most adorable pet-- she dances and dooks and squeezes
herself under my bed and climbs up onto my shoulder to be held (already!)
After only three days of being "owned" by her, she is *almost* litter
trained in her cage, too... now, running around outside of the cage is
another story!!! :)

Hugs to the sick fuzzies out there,

Jennifer &
Jasmine (hey, your fingers taste good, can I nibble on them some more?!?!?)
