Other than blockages what can cause a ferret to vomit.

Yesterday in a cage with 4 ferrets I found where a ferret had vomited
quite a few times with small amounts of thin white/clear and an amount
of 5 - 8 mls of yellowish material with chunks (undigested food) Since
one of these ferrets (Bandit) didn't look or act like he felt very
good and he is recovering from ECE, we figured it was him. I was going
to take him in to the vet this morning when I saw a second ferret
(Mufassa) in his cage vomiting once with a small amount of white/clear
fluid. After that he looked and acted fine. I was going to take both of
them in to our vet, when I found out our ferret knowledgeable vet is
not in the office today and wont be back until tomorrow afternoon. Now
a third ferret (Arriel) who is in a different cage is doing the same
thing vomiting small amounts of white/clear fluid with lots of dry
heaves I gave her a small amount of pepto (ferret version) and ferret
lax.

Other than the one who doesn't look like he feels very good they look
and act fine. No cleaning supplies or new detergents, nothing has been
introduced into their ferret proof play rooms or cages. Food is the
same as it has been for the past 3 years.

Does anyone have any ideas? Could it be some type of stomach bug?

Thanks

Mike
