Several weeks ago I saw a discussion on the FML about the evils of using
cedar shavings as ferret bedding material. Could someone please email
the references which describe why this is a bad idea? The local zoo
and pet stores ALL keep there ferrets with cedar shavings, and aren't
about to change without some hard evidence detailing why this is a
bad practice (I know the zoo keepers in charge of the ferrets, and
can easily get them to change if I can provide some sort of reference -
not just second hand information: "my vet told me..."). The pet
stores... well, we'll see.

Thanks in advance.
