Normally I stay out of these squabbles, but this one is getting to me..... I
don't mean to sound harsh, but I need to say some things, hope you all will
take it in the spirit it is given. If you need to reply, please do it
privately, the FML has enough of this going on now.

What is going on here, people???

Look, this is getting way out of line here. First off, I don't know Dayna
personally either, but I am certainly NOT going to say anything negative
about her. If everyone will take a moment to look back, you will see that
*she* never suggested that anyone send money to her. Yes, she is probably
in need just like the rest of us, but she is willing to make sacrifices and
take care of her financial problems herself. I think we need to look at the
facts, not what others want to believe based on unfounded gossip. I would
like to give her the benefit of the doubt here and believe that the only
thing she wanted from the FML and it's subscribers is the same thing we all
want from it, that is a place to talk about fuzzy things, express our
concerns when our kids are sick, ask questions so that we may learn from
each other, and receive a little moral support... that being the most
important thing us shelter people need.

Why are we all so quick to judge someone we know nothing about? We are all
grown-ups, we all know that people exist everywhere who would try to con us
especially for money. We know the risks, no one is twisting anyone's arm to
make a donation of money to *anyone*, it is our choice. If some are
suspicious, it would seem wiser to find facts to support your case, and I
mean *real* facts before anything is said. This mud-slinging type dispute
is only hurting ALL shelter operators. Is that what you want? I don't
think so.

Please, for the sake of the fuzzies, let's concentrate on them, not finding
fault with each other. I, for one, simply don't have the time or the
emotional energy to worry about such things, I simply follow my own
instincts in regard to people, and I hope others do the same. Since we
cannot *know* for absolute sure, can't we just give Dayna the benefit of the
doubt? Some may think that Dayna may be a little different, but many would
call me wierd for living with 29 fuzzbuckets too... think about it. Aren't
we all unique in our own way?

Now....let's get back to fuzzy-business.
