It breaks my heart to have to tell you all, that I have lost yet another
ferret.  My Mitzy passed in her sleep on Canada Day.  Mitzy is the last
of my original ferrets.
 
I bought a new home and moved on June 17th.  I was worried about Mitzy
and how she would handle the move.  I'm not sure if it was the move, the
horrendous heat or what.  She seemed to be weaker and was sleeping more.
However her appetite was normal and so were her stools.  She had some
diarrhea and had a hard time controlling where she went, but the diarrhea
had cleared up.
 
I went to get her out of her cage and she looked like she was sleeping
in her litter box, except I knew she wasn't sleeping.  I didn't have a
chance to tell her about the Rainbow Bridge nor was I with her.  I feel
so sad that she passed alone.  Sandee tell her Mom is so sorry I wasn't
with her.  I didn't know she was going to leave me so quickly.
