I wanted to know if the fart cart prances
when the Oracle flatulances
and if patter ungrammatical
met with Autumnal sabbitical,
but then I learned that the ferret brains
were back to fashion plots again.
Lily's back all dyed from woad
and in her head she has a load
of pent-up ferret energies,
and Stitch's demanding to be pleased
after what she found un-hip.
She's giving Lily a lot of lip
about the festival which lost its edge
(Stitch says it's fallen off the ledge.)
for pretty much the last five years.
Her complaining hurts the ears
of Lily Blue with heart so true
that now she knows what she must do
Time to create, invigorate
Her fluffy friend now so irate
and so a brain that's without match
whirls wildly finding plot to hatch.
 
If you find these stories fun
there's one thing left still to be done
since laughter is so good for health
take petty cash down from the shelf
and give some of what we help save
to those shelters hurt by storm depraved.
