Tonya, I am so glad you responded to this......I tried so hard not to,
but I was so mad after reading this post.  It just infuriates me - to
almost a point of not being able to speak.
 
I am sure there are ways to keep the dog and ferrets separated, and given
EQUAL love, if they can't all get along.  My ferrets lives are in my
hands......and I will take care of them until they/or I pass away.  I would
never get rid of them, take them from their home, where they know love,
where they know they are safe..............because of another animal.  I
would either not have gotten another animal, or would find a solution to
make it work..........for all involved.  Animals shouldn't be discarded
like they have no feelings, no rights, etc.............. Okay, I will get
off my soapbox now, this subject just really upsets me!
