I have a 8 year old ferret nemed Duke who seems to have a some sort of a
sneezing fit or similar problem and was wondering if anybody has seen it
before or heard of it somewhere???

She (yes, I know Duke is a males name) seems to get into a sneezing fit but
they seem to be more than a sneeze. When she does this thing, she violently
sneezes and sounds like she is screaming as she shakes her hear rapidly. It
is really scary and continues for what seems to be forever. If I try to
distract her, she seems to stop temporarily then usually continues, and
eventually stops. I asked the vet and he didn't really know what to say, he
thought she was just sneezing and that I was over reacting- but I'm not!! I
has to hurt her. I really don't know what to do.. Any help would really be
appreciated!!!!!!!!

I have raised these critters for over 10 years now and have never seen
anything like it before.

                   Thanks, Ron
