After a year of lurking and occassionally posting, I am more then a little
perturbed by the apparent assumption by many shelter/rescue operators that
they, and only they, are equipped or qualified to determine wether someone
should be allowed to own( or be owned by) a ferret. Not all people that buy
ferrets from a petstore are impulse buyers, ready to discard several hundred
dollars worth of pet at the first problem.

So please, don't continue the preaching about how only you can decide that a
person is deserving of our fuzzbutts.

The above is only my $0.02 worth.
