Last night I was writing a term paper for my history class. I was sitting
tilted on the chair with back legs up. I then put the chair all the way
on the floor, the chair is like a rocking chair, I did not even notice the
poor little ferret, Reece, Underneath. All of a sudden Scooter comes to me
and starts going wild. I was not sure what was up with him so I pushed him
away. After about 30 seconds of this behavior I feel my chair shudder. I
look underneath and to my horror, Reece is squished underneath it looking
very dead, his tounge was hanging out of his mouth. Needless to say, I got
my ass off the chair and threw it across the room, Reece ran away under the
couch after he was freed from the chair.

I am not sure if I squished any of his internal organs. This happened like
12 hours ago and reece is acting fine, mabe a little slow though. He is
pooping, eating, and peeing fine. His breaths are a little quick while he
was sleeping though. BUt this morning he was still alive and acting fine.
I am still scared that I may of hurt him internally. If he is acting fine,
but a little slow, and seems okay after this long do you think he will be
okay? It is a miracle that he survive the chair, I am 150lbs 5'7"
therefore, I am not exactly light. I thank the lord for not taking my baby
away.

I have no idea what I would do without him....
