You know it's time to switch vets when.....

.....your vet reads 3 novels a week, but when you print out a copy
of the medical FAQ s/he briefly glances at it and gives it back.

....you withhold food for several hours for a fasting glucose level,
and your vet's tech gives your ferret a big glob of Nutrical just
before drawing blood, and your vet says it won't make any difference.

....your ferret has an enlarged spleen, but your vet doesn't tell you
because he doesn't think it's important (you find out because you
    happen to ask).

....you adopt a ferret from one of your vet's clients, and although s/he
has the complete file, doesn't tell you the ferret has insulinoma
and is on medication....you find out when the ferret has a seizure
and ends up in the hospital.

....your vet's licensed tech asks *you* how to spell Carafet.

....you have an emergency, and although your vet is in the office, you're
told to come in 3 hours later AFTER routine appointments.
