Hi all

I have been reading about the ferrets and cataracts. Im not sure if any of
you have looked into having your ferrets cataracts removed, but I think it
is possible. Since a cataract is the cloudiness of the lens only, this may
be removed. In humans the lens is replaced by an artificial one. In dogs
it is removed but not normally replaced. This means that the dog can now
see but not focus very effectively on an object, this is normally very
sucessful to restore the sight but may be quite expensive. Apart from the
size of a ferrets eye I dont see any reason why an eye specialist couldnt
perfor the operation. Might be worth a look at?
