I had the 6 ft ladder out to change the back stairway bulb which happens to
be at the top of a 9-ft ceiling (grumble).  I left the ladder for a moment
only to return and find Pumkin on the third step.  As I watched he climbed
very confidently up one more step.  And here I have to muster all my
courage up to climb it to change the bulb.... Guess I'll go buy a small 2
ft step ladder for them to play on.
