In regard to Kelly's question on colored poop.  I am wondering if
"Brown's" is the same company that makes a treat that came with one of my
adoptees.
 
This particular treat is called "Fruit Bites", and stated clearly on the
outside of the package is, "A Great Treat for Birds and Small Animals From
Parrots to Ferrets".  The front of the package is decorated with pictures
of delicious looking fruit.  The ingredients are papaya, sugar, sulphur
dioxide and artifical color.
 
The company that manufactures it is:
     F.M. Brown's Sins Inc.

Their consumer Help line is 1-800-334-8816 ext.64.
 
Am I out of line to think that writing or calling this company is in
order?  I am no purist, as my kids get a tiny bite of banana every now
and then, but it seems to me that this kind of advertising is potentially
harmful to our little fuzzbutts.
