Someone on this list posted some time ago that using Lysol on a cage left
a residue that caused respiratory problems that suffocated a ferret. Others
have also posted warnings about using it. I would not recommend using
Lysol to clean cages where ferrets will be housed.
 
To the person whose ferret got stepped on: It sounds like your fuzzie
may have suffered some internal injury. I would get him/her checked by a vet
asap.
