Hello Everyone,
 
I am new here.  I am looking to find a shelter for ferrets in West
Virginia.  I swore the next ferret I would get would be from a shelter,
but I can't find one in WV.  The closest shelters are either in Virginia
or Ohio.  If there are no shelters in WV then I might be interested in
maybe starting one up.  If anyone could give me any information on how I
could go about doing this, please let me know.  I want to do all I can to
help.  Also, the pet stores that do sale ferrets here do not know much
about them (really nothing at all).  As a matter of fact, when I visit my
local pet store that sales ferrets I always have to stop to see the new
kits, and I am the one who is standing around telling customers what I do
know about them.
 
Any information would be appreciated.
