The local shelter mom has a little guy named Stubby. If I got the story
right he came in without a tail, so there is no way of knowing where it
went. Stubby is a very small guy with about 5 times the energy of a
ferret on expresso. The only real difference I can see in his behavior
is that when he gets excited, his whole body bristles. Losing a tail has
definitely had no effect on his energy, vitality and actually has added
to his personality. I just want to scoop him up and put him in a pocket
every time I see him. Despite his small stature, he's not the least
afraid of the biggest in the bunch and his heart is huge.

I'm willing to bet the missing tail won't slow her down a bit. Good luck
to both of you!
