For all of those who are excited about the angora ferrets in recent
magazines -- A WORD OF CAUTION

Thye are lovely ferrets but require regular maintainence with felaine
hairball remover. Petromalt, Laxatone any of the like. Remember that this
soft, long and fine hair --does indeed -- get ingested and caretakers of
these beauties should administer hair ball remedy once a week regularly or
daily during shedding season. Remeber that hair when ingested will knot up
and cause a blockage -- once that occurs (if caught in time) the ferret will
require surgery to remove the blockage.

Beauty in this case has a price.
