I don't know about my ferrets, but I don't like them.  Tried them for my
cat - they're like marbles when they get all over the floor.  Actually, it
was probably my ferrets, not my cat, who threw them out of the litter box -
just to watch me try to vacuum them up!
 
I'll stick with wood pellets, thank you.  I get them for free from my
local fireplace shop.  They give me the "damaged" bags - a little hole or
something.
