Hi everybody!

SNOWBALL
Please do consider adrenal surgery, especially if your vet indicates that it
would probably be successful. So often a ferrets life is not only made
longer but also made happier and healthier for it. The week or so that it
will take for her to recover will be less traumatic and less painful than a
slow, lingering demise. Give her more time for you to love her! : )

CAMPING FERRETS
The heat in a truck bed with a camper top will most likely be too much for a
ferret. Any temperature over 80 degrees, in fact, can be too warm.
Depending on where you will be, you might consider bringing a cage with you
and setting the cage up outside, in the shade, during the day. At night,
bring your little buddy in the camper with you. Be sure to provide plenty
of water, and keeping a frozen water bottle wrapped in a towel in the cage
with him is a good idea. You might even provide him with a shallow pan of
water with a few ice cubes in it. He can play in the water and bob for ice
cubes to keep cool.

As for travelling long distance, you definately will want to keep your buddy
in a cage or carrier - safer for him, safer for you - when driving.
Definately provide a litter pan. A good replacement for a full-sized pan is
an inexpensive tupperware type container that you can purchase at the dollar
store. You can get a size that will fit nicely in your carrier. For a long
trip, I would recommend leaving a food bowl in the carrier and hanging a
water bottle on the carrier door so that your fert will have constant access
to food and water. For a shorter trip (less than 3 hours) you might just
offer food and water half way at a rest stop.

Hope I've answered a few questions!
