Hi Kelly;
 
If your fert is chewing styrofoam peanuts, you don't want to give him
kaopectate to stop loose poops, you want to give him something like flax
seed oil, or even cooking oil to help pass the potential blockage!!
Elsewise, you can be looking at surgery to clear the blockage so he doesn't
die!
