HI,

Sometimes if you find your ferret gagging and pawing at the mouth,
there is a piece of kibble wedged in the roof of the mouth. Lots of
folks that use feline kibble have had this happen, as the cat food
is not shaped and sized for ferret mouths.

If your ferret is vomiting, watch closely! Monitor the water and food
intake AND output, as a foreign object may have been ingested, or a
hairball blockage. Sometimes this is just a passing upset, but
persistent gagging and vomiting is def something more serious, and
warrants a Vet visit.
