Monday, November 24: Diamond and her Posse (me, Rose, Al & Gale) went
to Dr. Mike's to have stitches taken out this morning. She was a
perfect patient with the help of Ferretone. She still has drainage from
the little hole that will heal with time. She has a bump on the back of
her neck that is disturbing to me but Dr. Mike didn't see any cause for
alarm.

I took a blanket and spread it on the office floor so Dr. Mike and
his staff could see how well she's ambulating. It was definitely
an "awwwwww" moment. She was all about showing off for them. It's
absolutely amazing how one little 1.8lb ferret can captivate so many
adults.

She's still on amoxycillin.

Other than that, it's just a matter of time. This weekend she'll
most likely graduate from her cage to a plexiglass playpen. Amazing
progress .... absolutely amazing.
