If you can't find a (vasectomized) hob (I'm assuming you don't want a
pregnancy), or if you don't want your ferret to go through the mating
process, your vet can give your ferret a hormone shot to take her out of
heat.  The name of the hormone is Human Chorionic Gonadtrophin, and I
don't know what the dosage is, but your vet ought to be able to find out.
It may take two shots, two weeks apart.
