I just had to respond to what Jacquie said about Otis "The Attack ferret".
I have never quite thought of it that way, but it makes sense to me!!!

One of my boys, HumVee (to my surprise has grown into his name quite
nicely) has a little routine that he puts me through several times a week.
The routine is as follows:

Step 1
Stands at my feet and looks up at me.

Step 2
Scratches at my legs, pauses & waits for a response.

Step 3
Works consistently to find the most tender area behind my knee, carefully
selects a piece of skin with his teeth and pinches the fire out of me.

Step 4
Continues steps 2 and 3 until I reach down to move him away from me.

Step 5
Uses the opportunity of my hand being wrapped around his body to gently
grasp my index finger between his teeth.

Step 6
While holding my finger in his mouth, pulls me with his "Humvee All
Terrain ,4 X 4 Power " into the middle of the living room floor.

Step 7
Releases my finger, pauses & waits for me to give in and play with him.

I've never doubted his intelligence, but I did underestimate it. Now I
understand completely!! Thanks for the insight Jacque.
