Hey all I posted about two weeks ago about my ferret being sick. Now he is
doing great but we still have a problem, I have made it were he won't bite
too hard but I can't train him to use the litter. He has been pretty smart
and caught on to most things that I tried to teach him extremely fast but I
don't get why he isn't using the litter box. I asked someone who had owned
a ferret and they said put some cloth down and he won't go on the cloth.
So I did. Next day I get home from football practice at 6:30 and come to
open his cage and I find the towel pushed all the way in one conner and he
had relieved himself in two of the other conners. What can I do to stop
this I have tried catching him in the act but that has been kind of hard
because when I have him out he never goes and when I am in the room and he
is in his cage he never goes but when I am asleep or not there he goes in
the conners.

It isn't so much the trouble of cleaning the cage but I think it would take
me a lot less time if all I had to clean is the litter box. If you have
any suggestions or past experiences I would greatly appreciate your ideas.
