First of all, I'd like to extend my deepest sympathies and my sincere,
heartfelt condolences to those who have ever lost a little one. Especially
to those with more recent losses. My heart aches, and grows both heavy and
sad when I learn that another has gone to The Bridge. I know what it's
like, and how bad it feels. I am truly very sorry for each and every one.

Secondly, I want to tell everyone about something I saw several months ago.
It's a pendant that can be etched with a portrait of your choice, in either
sterling silver or fourteen karat (yellow) gold (white isn't available).
Any portrait, up to an 8x10, can be used. Doesn't matter if it's color or
B & W. They are available through the watch repair counter at JC Penney
stores. Otherwise, a web search can be done for 'Jay-Aimee Designs'.
However, unless you contact the manufacturer directly, the website only
makes them available in fourteen karat. Shapes available are: heart,
rectangle, oval, and round. If anybody orders one, please keep in mind
that the photo you send may not be returned in as good a condition as when
sent (paperclips are used to attach the photo to the order). If you don't
have the ability with your own pc, my suggestion would be to go to a Kodak
photo computer (I don't remember what they're called, exactly) to copy
and/or crop one to your liking. I've seen them at Walmart, Walgreen's,
Target, etc. Depending on the JC Penney store, a photocopied 'catalog'
of options, as well as 'frame' styles, may be available. I've seen both
the stamped, diamond rope edge (or 'frame'), and the bezel cut edge (kind
of a special order). Personally, I prefer the bezel cut.

Ok, Ok... I ordered, and (finally) got mine! I really do like it!! I
chose the rectangle w/ bezel edge in sterling silver because I like 'white'
metal. It's of Renny (of course) riding a towel. One of her front feet is
in the lower, left-hand corner while the tip of her tail is in the upper,
right-hand corner (when facing the pendant). It's really neat! I waited
and waited, then finally decided to just do it! They aren't inexpensive,
but not overly outrageous either (well, not in SS anyway).

I hope I haven't forgotten to include any information about them. If so,
feel free to email me with any questions. I'll do my best to answer them.

Sonya
