The Massachusetts Ferret Friends (MaFF) is holding a silent auction for a
new-in-box Tickle-Me Elmo doll.  Proceeds will benefit the MaFF education
and shelter fund.
 
Bidding starts at $200.  Winning bid will receive Elmo via overnight
delivery, on Christmas Eve.  (Delivery will be COD--winner will need to pay
cash in the amount of the bid to receive Elmo at delivery.)
 
To bid, send an e-mail to [log in to unmask] with the following information:
 
  1. Your name
  2. Your town and state
  3. your telephone number (include area code)
  4. the amount that you bid
  5. * Optional: indicate whether you would like any information about
     ferrets or ferret adoption (by e-mail).
 
Bids MUST be received by Sunday, December 22 at 12 noon (eastern standard
time).  Winner will be notified Sunday evening by telephone between 8pm and
9pm (eastern standard time).  In the case of a tie for the top bid, the
earliest received will win.
