Hi,

I was wondering if anybody knows how, and successfully, to freeze dry
meats? Chicken hearts in particular. I have several ferrets (and dogs)
that love! This product: http://www.powerpawproducts.com/treats.html
but $55.00 for the big bag is a little pricey. I love giving them them
best......but....:) I can get packages of the Park Farms hearts from
Krogers. This brand has containers of gizzards and livers too. They
usually only have them around Holidays. But I have called and ordered
them, they got in 5 packages the last time for me. Unlike Tyson
(wouldn't buy their products anyway) you can get gizzards and hearts,
but you end up with maybe! 4-6 hearts in one package.

Thanks! Joan & the Fuzzys
owned by ferrets since 1977!
