sorry for the double post. but a question is REALLY bugging me.

Noodles went in for her x-ray and ultrasound yesterday in hopes of
finding just an enlarged adrenal gland. No such luck. What we found
really broke my heart. Poor Noodles' liver is 3 times it's normal size,
and it just about takes up her chest cavity. Her right adrenal gland was
also large enough to see on ultrasound. The reason I'm mad at myself,
was because when she had her first adrenal surgery, Dr said there was a
small mass on the liver and he went ahead and cut it off. He asked if I
wanted it biopsied and I asked if it was necessary and he said no...so I
said no. From my understanding, We're not sure if the liver is filled
with fluid, or if it's a tumor. She's staying overnight and tomorrow
she's going to get her blood clotting tested, then a needle biopsy in
her chest to pull out either a piece of tumor or liquid of some sort. I
already really miss her...I got home from work(10:30pm), went into the
room to let the ferrets out and there was a "vacancy" that i really
wasn't used to.

My question is, if it was possible when the DR cut off the "mass" from
the liver if that could have caused some problems...possibly if the liver
wasn't closed properly that fluid leaked into the liver causing it to
enlarge, or if cutting the mass caused it to spread?

I really am at a loss as what to do....please help!
