Yes, I've heard of this - I rent a house.  When I moved here, I selected
a new insurance agent with the same company I used in Illinois, they
pre-filled out the renters insurance questionaire......
 
Dog, No, Exotic Pets, No .....although I had both and they never bothered
to ask me.  I know it wasn't right, but I signed it.  What was I gonna
do, not have coverage on my household contents because a ferret "could
bite someone"?  I don't let people that I'm woried about sueing me handle
my ferrets in the first place.
