I noticed recently that the Linatone/olive oil mixture was beginning to form
some mold. Does this stuff spoil? Should it be refrigerated? Not knowing,
I put the mix into a clean container and began refrigerating it. When I
give it to the ferrets, I place the drops on a plastic coaster and they lap
it up. No problem, right? Well, I just had to share what happened a couple
of nights ago. It was time to trim the nails, so I got the Linatone,
grabbed the first ferret, made sure the clippers were handy, then placed a
drop of Linatone on the belly. As soon as I did, the ferret 'bout jumped
out of his fur! For a moment, I couldn't imagine what the problem was,
since I've been using Linatone as a diversion for nail clipping for a few
months now. Then it hit me: I was using the REFRIGERATED Linatone!!!!!! As
soon as I realized why he'd jumped out of my lap so fast, I started laughing
so hard I couldn't see!!!
