Hello,

I need some help from all you out there if you can, Seems my baby has a lump
or knot above her belly and at the top of her rib cage. I noticed it
alittle while back and it seem to be just a bone I thought or something that
I would think of as bieng normal. Its hard to explain but I will try.

This knot or whatever has seem to grow soft and last night I picked her up
from the floor to give her a treat and felt the lump and it seem to me as
getting bigger. She plays and acts like nothing is wrong but have heard
that it might be cancer, as ferrets seem to get cancer alot more often than
most animals. I have been very worried as if I lost her due to my lack of
knowing things and prolonging a visit to the vet, it would tear me up as she
is my pride and joy.

My local vet has told me that I worry alot over small things so have
prolonged a visit to him as I have a rather large vet bill but also was
wondering if I might be over reacting myself but I am wondering now or not?
I hope someone or a few will either post in the Fml or email me as I really
need some help on this matter.

I asked Bill this question also a few days back and he was going to go to
alot of trouble for me and all, so rather than have him go to alot of
trouble I will ask all you Fml people. Does anyone know of any Ferret chat
sites on the net that are not on AOL? I would hope with all the chatting
sites out there, that I could find one at least but at this moment havent
found any.

Bill, this is to you I really thank you for the time you have taken to help
all us owners and all. You in my book have done a great job and went over
backward when you should of not at times, thank you again and I hope
everyone knows just how much you care about our little ones and so will say
it again, THANK YOU! :)
