Dear Louie's Mom-

I am Louie's Santa from the Giving Tree. Because of the state of
emergency here, not all of the post offices are up and running, not all
mail trucks are moving. I am just about to go to Mexico for two weeks,
and will mail his package when I return. If I mail it from Mexico, it
might arrive in time for Christmas 2010.

But please tell Louie not to be sad. I remembered the N Bones and the
Ferretone, and a John Deere sleepy sack that Ping loved very much. He's
going to get these things in the middle of January, unless the post
office opens up in the next few hours. It's possible, a crew is working
on it.

Do not despair, Louie. I will not forget you, little friend.
