Milly Grace will begin taking Pediapred for her diagnosis of borderline
insulinoma. I picked up her prescription last night and will start her
on the medication tomorrow morning.

Being the details freak I am, I read through all of the precautions that
came with the prescription. Has anyone ever had a ferret react to the
Pediapred? I'm a bit nervous about how to look for some of the symptoms,
as the precautions are clearly written for a human. I've specifically
held off giving Milly the medication until I could be there to monitor
throughout the day.

Also, the medication clearly states to take with food. Now, Milly is a
very independent little lady who doesn't like much more than Bandit treats
and Totally Ferret. And she certainly doesn't like to be told what to
do. If I have to give her the medication at the same time each day, how
do I ensure that she eats prior to getting the medication?

Milly is the best little ferret girl in the whole world and I want to
make sure that the medication that is supposed to help her doesn't make
her sick!

Any advice is welcome. Thank you!

Peace,
Melissa Sullivan
