To the person with a leaky water bottle -
 
try a crock lock bowl from Ferretware, they screw on the cage
 
try a cable lock, not wire to hold the bowl in place, you can cut the cable
lock easy (used to hold computer cables together)
 
try using a bird dish or travel dish that hooks on the cage, that is what
I use
 
try the ferret water bottls from Jeffers (1-800-JEFFERS), mine does not
leak
 
be sure you fill the water bottle to the top before putting it in the cage,
filling the bottle creates a vacumme which miminize the leakage  This is
IMPORTANT and should be tried first.
 
Nan and SuperSnooper who does not have a leaky water bottle
 
[Moderator's note: Also, don't fill them with very cold water -- the water
expands as it warms up and leaks out of the bottle.  BIG]
