Our first ferret, Sidney, may he rest in peace, lived with us for 7 1/2
years and never had a buddy. I'd like to think he was happy and he
certainly was healthy. He never had adrenal problems, insulinoma, skin
growths, etc., etc. I do believe he would have been happier with a friend,
but it just never happened during his time with us.

Sid seemed pretty well adjusted and only dug one hole in a carpet in all
that time. :-) He slept in the drawer of the nightstand on my side of the
bed most of the time and at night in bed with me. I love all my ferrets,
but Sid was really special to me. This coming tuesday, April 14, it'll be
five years since Sid passed away and I still grieve for him.

For the ferrets,
Mike
