Hi,
I am sorry to hear your rescued gal isn't faring well, I am NOT a vet but
there may be several things- It may be a disc injury ( compression fracture
of the spine) or a blood clot on the spine, or a diseased kidney putting
pressure on the spinal column, or lymphoma, or even ADV. There is always
the chance it is not disease related and she sustained a fall, or something
fell on her and the damage is not enough to show on the x-ray. A second
opinion vet check with one familiar with mobility problems might be a good
thing here. Please have a blood test done to rule out ADV.

Unfortunately until you identify the source of the problem-- no treatment
can be prescribed.
