Condolences to those with sick or lost fuzzies, or those who have lost one.
 
Well, this isn't really a "sighting", but it's a reference! :)  I was
reading an old Star Trek "pocket book" (equal to about a single television
series story) titled "Demons" the other day.  In the story, the wife of
Sarek (a Vulcan ambassador to Earth) had planted some rose bushes, only
to find three of them dug up and broken the next morning.  She asked her
husband who or what might have done that, her husband gave her the name of
a creature that she was unfamiliar with.  He then clarified "Kind of like a
ferret." See?  They've even been recognized on the planet Vulcan! :)
