I don't feel a need to be anonymous. I think you're doing just fine. I
like having rules (although I'd never seen them before, but I joined
within the last year and probably missed them). You might avoid
complaints of dictator by listing the rules occasionally. It's *your*
show, I don't mind any rules at all, as long as I know what they are.
Otherwise it might feel "arbitrary".
 
[In all honesty, those "rules" have never been written down before.
Since those issues never came up until now, I just never thought it
worthwhile writing them down.]
 
If I wanted a completely unmoderated discussion, I could just use the
existing nets.
 
[Which is what everybody should keep in mind.  Rec.pets and Rachel
Dafni Christi (aka Roger David Carrasso) come to mind - one of the
benefits of moderation.  Nancy?  I cringed when I saw you fall
for rdc's baiting.  But it was too late for me to warn you...]
