Tony Perry of the LA Times came by with a photographer to do a story on
ferret legalization. Tony told me he called the White House contacts
and they are indeed aware of our petition. Word is they don't think we
can achieve the 25,000 signatures necessary to get a response. But if
we make it, they will take the petition seriously.
