Hello, everyone!
 
The GLFA show in Lansing was my first experience of a show -- and so many
ferrets.  I wanted to congratulate everyone.  I was so impressed and
especially liked the marketplace.
 
The one thing I didn't like -- so much smoking!  I am allergic to smoking.
I'm allergic to a lot of things -- but thankfully not animals!  :o)
 
My new fuzzy Pepita is doing really well.  She played and played for hours
in her cage, then finally dug herself under her blanket to sleep.  It was
amazing how well she adapted.
 
My dad was at work and couldn't go to the show, and when he got home she was
down for the night!  He just saw her this morning before church and thought
she looked like an otter -- he LOVES otters, which are his favorite animal.
My mom thinks she acts like a cat, which is HER favorite animal.  I tell ya,
she looks like she's going to be very popular.  My brother hasn't seen her
yet, he doesn't like animals -- thankfully he lives on campus at college!
:o) He doesn't mind me having pets, though.
 
Best of all, she has used her litter box 100% so far -- and I have one of
those triangle ones everyone says they won't use!  :o) I'll change it if
there are any problems but so far there are none.

P.S.  On the leaflet I got about the Ferret Rennaisance it said it was $3 to
get in, but there was not place to pay anyone.  Do my mom and I owe someone
$6?  If so, let me know!  :o)
