I just read in our local paper that on Saturday, July 19th, there will be
ferrets and owners present at the 4-H Club Festival at 5 pm.  This is
intended to provide information to people who are contemplating
buying/adopting a ferret.
 
It was at this event, 3 years ago, that my daughter was first introduced to
ferrets, and prompted her to save her money and become a ferret owner.  So,
I would recommend any prospective new owners check this out at Overpeck Park
in Leonia.  I would go, but will be away.
