Good News from Maryland Legislature

We just got a phone call from Diane Rogers this evening.  Diane is the
president of the Baltimore Ferret Club and the coordinator of the effort for
a quarantine law in Maryland.  The environmental committee in the House
voted on the bill today, and it passed 17 to 3!  Diane also said that the
Maryland veterinary association has reversed its position on the bill (after
protests from members) and now supports it.
